Purpose of holiday: We usually try to get away once a year, to spend time with each other, as it is just the two of us now.
Any highlights of your getaway: Mum thinking she lost the keys to our apartment and we had to get help from reception to get back into our room only to find the keys on the kitchen bench.
Any funny stories: Just watching mums facial reactions to things she sees in todays fashion, while walking around Hastings St. Or, her telling stories of the price of things “back in my day” 🙂
3 tips:
• The pizza restaurant at The Ivory Palms Resort are convenient and tasty.
• Always nice to stay somewhere with multiple pools so if one is busy you can simply go to another (I don’t like crowds when I’m in swimmers)
• The ferry along Noosa River is very enjoyable and relaxing way to get to Hastings st.
Testimonial: The Ivory Palms Resort is lovely and clean place to stay with plenty of facilities for all ages. It was also helpful that the apartment had a toilet downstairs – made it easier for mum.
